The purpose of the position is to manage and co-ordinate statutory accounting, reporting and tax activities in Serbian legal entities which are covering Mondelez business in Serbia, Bosnia, Macedonia, Montenegro and Albania. 

Description

We need you to manage and co-ordinate statutory accounting, reporting and tax activities in Serbian legal entities (which cover Mondelez business in Serbia, Bosnia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Kosovo and Albania). As Accounting Manager you will report directly to the Financial Controller SCE and have direct responsibility for local Serbian statutory accounting & reporting, taxes, SOX compliance and other key controllership requirements.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Preparation of accurate and timely statutory financial statements in line with applicable regulatory requirements;
  • Implementation of efficient tax management strategies while meeting all tax reporting obligations;
  • Support management to ensure that all activities are in accordance with the local statutory incl. support of statutory and US-GAAP related year end audits
  • Manage transfer pricing calculations and preparation of transfer pricing studies to ensure compliance with corporate and statuory requirements
  • Provides financial & tax contract review for all contract concluded between Serbian enties and third paries
  • Has a advisory role for any project in Serbia for tax implications
  • Oversee payroll process for Serbian entites and ensures proper cost accounting

The incumbent of the position is also one of the company representatives of the Mondelez Services GmbH ogranak Beograd. As consequence, the incumbent will share the fiduciary responsibility of this entity, and will need to be in the front-line of representing the company in formal matters, whenever necessary or appropriate.

Do you have what it takes?

  • University degree in Finance / Accounting / Economy.
  • Accounting standards knowledge (IAS/ IFRS, US GAAP)
  • Minimum 7 years experience in controlling/ accounting/ financial planning
  • Flunecy in English
  • Ability to develop direct reports and others
  • Strong analytical and prioritization skills
