Business Analysis Consultant
Belgrade
Key role: Designing technical solutions to business problems with focus on centralized services and regulatory reporting processes
Main responsibilities
- Performing detailed business and technical analysis of business requirements, including integration with existing functionality
- Translating and simplifying business specifications into functional requirements
- Writing detailed functional requirements including the design of effective user interfaces for banking applications
- Communicating requirements for new functionality to stakeholders and to the technical development teams
- Working with business, development and control functions to identify and prioritize use cases for new and existing functionality
- Developing a comprehensive understanding of the entire structure and relations of used banking applications
- Identifying and designing solutions for inefficiencies and enhancement opportunities in existing business processes and application functionality
- Providing plans and estimates of effort and duration of projects and tasks to project management, and tracking tasks, progress and milestones
- Use requirements to drive the design and review of test cases, process change requests, and support assigned project’s scope, acceptance, installation and deployment
- Maintaining parameters for existing and new functionalities
Requirements:
- Experience in Business/Systems Analyst role in Banking Industry, minimum 2 years - preferably in Payments and Treasury area including operational and statutory reporting
- University degree in technical science preferred
- Verbal and written English language Proficiency
- Detail-oriented mindset with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to write comprehensive, clear, and concise functional requirements documents for technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly
- Solid understanding of relational database concepts and some experience with SQL
- Advanced knowledge of Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
- Self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision
