Business Development Representative

Executing demand generation campaigns in the aim of identifying and qualifying new opportunities for sales is what it’s about when you’re our Business Development Representative.

While onboarding:
- You’ll have time to (quickly) get up to speed on the brands of Comtrade, it’s culture, values, enabling you to present our portfolio of solutions and services
- You’ll also take time to understand analytics and business intelligence solutions in our offering, as well as our product portfolio, prospects and partners, their needs, and what attracts them to be in business with us
As a Business Development Representative, you’ll be responsible for:
- Conducting market research alongside Business Development Managers/Marketing Department, as well as creating and executing sales, and lead generation plans
- Contacting potential clients via cold calls & emails, representing our company and value propositions to potential clients
- Organizing meetings and generating new opportunities
- Coordinating between Business Development and Product Development Managers regarding strategic approaches and activities
- Identifying and reacting to client needs, as well as suggesting suitable products & services, while proactively seeking new business opportunities
- Reporting to Business Development Managers on the results of your monthly, quarterly and annual demand generation goals. Discovering opportunities based on leads in cooperation with the marketing team, setting appointments based on those leads
- Keeping track of new products & services, any features, and pricing plans
- Being part of presales meetings, trade shows and expos, and maintaining skills and knowledge of current tech through vendor training
These basic requirements are all we ask:
- Fluent English
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
- 1+ years of B2B sales experience, software technology (preferred)
- Experience with selling technology to end-user organizations (preferred)
- Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
- Goal-driven with an understanding of sales performance metrics
- Phenomenal interpersonal communication skills and phone presence
- Proficiency with various supporting software such as Microsoft Office, Teams and similar
