We are currently looking for:

CHIEF ACCOUNTANT

Requirements:

• College or University degree in Economics or related field
• Certified Accountant (Serbian certification)
• Very good, applied knowledge of the local and international accounting standards
• Fluency in the English language (written and spoken)
• Excellent knowledge of the relevant tax and accounting legal and regulatory framework
• At least 6 years of working experience in the accounting field, preferably with multinational organisation
• Strong computer skills and knowledge of Office Suite and ERP systems (preferably SAP)
• Working experience in an auditing company is highly desirable
• International professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) will be considered as a strong asset

Responsibilities:

• Reporting to the Finance Director, the Candidate will be responsible for the application of group and local accounting policies in accordance with local and international accounting and tax standards
• The candidate will be responsible for the development and application of group internal procedures and the development and maintenance of an adequate internal control environment
• Participation in preparation of the group management accounts package
• Manages and supervises daily operation of accounts payable, accounts receivable, business license, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll and all day - to - day accounting activities
• Manages and organizes work of the accounting staff
