Java/JEE System Engineer

In a team of highly skilled Java experts you will be working on the evolution of internal Java EE based application platform for one of the world's biggest multi-billion € insurance companies. You will be able to influence the design of the platform, with the combination of best of breed tools and internal Java developments. You will have the opportunity to develop new ideas and concepts, and ensure that work packages are correctly implemented in a distributed team.

As part of motivated team you will continue to learn new topics, and will be confronted with state of the art technologies.

The ideal candidate hired into these positions should have the following key skills:

• University degree in computer science (or equivalent)
• At least 2 years of working experience
• Development and delivery experience with Java (Java 8, REST, Java EE, JSON)
• Experience with continuous integration and delivery; Git, Jenkins, Maven, TDD, BDD
• Experience with any of JavaScript, Ruby, Shell scripting
• Experience with Cloud Technologies like Openshift/ Openstack and Docker
• Basic understanding of Security technologies (PKI, TLS, SAML, OAuth2, XACML)
• Strong commitment to high quality
• Strong analytical skills, systematic approach and independency in fulfilling duties
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
• Ability to travel abroad
