Piping Engineers

Job Description:

• Conducting document checking and designing verification tasks in accordance with company and project procedures
• Contributing to discipline design criteria for Engineering or Design activities
• Contributing to designing documentation and deliverables such as piping flexibility and stress reports, nozzle load reports, pipe support load calculations and specialty item data sheets
• Interfacing with Piping Design and Civil/Structural Disciplines
• Performing analysis and calculations
• Conducting studies and preparing reports

Job Requirements:

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. Mechanical Engineering
• Previous experience in an EPC environment
• Knowledge of the Engineering development process and typical Piping Engineering deliverables such as piping isometrics, piping line classes, line designation tables, specialty items, material selection diagrams
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel and Outlook
• Working knowledge of ASME B31.3, ASME B31.4, ASME B31.8, ASME B16.5, ASME VIII, CSA Z662, API 5L
• Experience using Caesar II, AutoPipe and NozzlePro
• Excellent English, both verbal and written
• International experience in piping related projects is considered plus
