Senior Java Developer

Job description:

• Design, development, testing and maintenance of existing applications and work on development of new Java/J2EE and Android applications

Requirements:

• University degree in engineering or computer science
• Experienced in software development using Java, 3+ years
• Excellent programming abilities and good understanding of OOP concept
• Proficiency in Java/J2EE, EJB3.0, WebServices, Hibernate, Eclipse IDE, SVN
• Familiar with Servlets, JDBC, Web applications, SQL/MySql, JBoss
• Good written and spoken knowledge of English

Desirable skills (It is not essential but will be considered an advantage if you have knowledge within the following products/technologies):

• Proficiency in Android SDK
• Confluence, JIRA, FishEye, Crucible
• Familiar with JUnit and integration testing
• Understanding of clustered and distributed system environments
• Ability to share knowledge with team members via a mentoring relationship, reviewing code and giving technical talks
• Being a good team player and able to focus on own tasks
• Willingness and ability to learn new technologies and business areas
