Main skills and abilities:

• Good communication, team leadership and teaching skills
• Ability to organize, priority management, methods
• Ability to master progress, improvement, and lean manufacturing tools
• Ability to master a speciality; production methods, or quality, or logistics or maintenance

Develop continuous improvement and train actors to use improvement tools

• Coordinates and develops training plans necessary to implement SPM tools with Human Resources
• Trains actors and leaders of action plans to use SPM tools
• Leads SPM workshops in the plant
• Communicates and promotes continuous improvement workshops and best practises from the plant
• Ensures that SPM principles are taken into account in new projects of the site immediately after investment requests are made
• Ensure the correct daily usage of SPM standards in the plant
• Takes decisions necessary to optimize results without compromising the original data.

Performs and/or facilitates the implementation of progress plans

• Provides the Plant Director with a master plan for the site in accordance with the principles of the ideal plant.
• Contribute to the building of department improvement plan (sub-schedules of master plan)
• Deploys SPM standards in the company in relation to the business objectives defined with the Plant Director (Master & Progress Plan), in conjunction with the SPM Leaders of the area
• Uses the Value Stream Mapping to identify and value financial stakes and identify priority workshops to be set up
• Initiates and / or leads improvement workshops.
• Facilitates and supports improvement workshops led by others
• Decides and justifies to ensure achievement of the objectives of the workshop

Coordinate progress plans

• Under the direction of Plant Manager, coordinates the progress plan
• Gives assistance to people to develop progress plans of the site / department / business area
• Ensures implementation of progress / productivity actions according to established program (compliance with content and timing)
• Ensures reactivity in case of deviations and informs superiors if blocking points.
• Validates savings announced and made with the management controller.
• Participates in monthly reporting and analysis of the results expressed in the site / business area dashboard, including analysis of margin, indicators, productivity plan, improvement workshops
• Co-leads the progress plan monthly review with the Director of the site / department / business area : presentation and comments on the progress of various activities / workshops.

Controls communication, promotion, effective use of Group standards and improvement

• Guarantees use, understanding and strict enforcement of Group SPM standards in the plant.
• Participates in the sharing of experiences, benchmarking and synergies by maintaining regular contact with other plants in the group.
• Participates in new product launch meetings of the site to ensure proper consideration of SPM principles and standards.
