Financial Manager
Belgrade
Background:
- Bachelor or Masters degree in economics
- At least 5 years of experience on similar function
- Independent, diligent and pro active individual
- Highly organized person with ability to work under strict deadlines
- Excellent communication skills are essential, particularly in regard to presenting the results of analyses to management
- Should have an outstanding knowledge of electronic spreadsheets and experience with use of accounting software
The financial manager has responsibilities in the following fields and will perform the following tasks within them:
Budgeting and Cash flow Management
- Manage the preparation of the company's budget and budgets of other companies in the group
- Report to management on variances from the established budget, and the reasons for those variances
- Manage and track company cash flows in order achieve constant liquidity of the company and timely settlement of all obligations
- Assist management in the formulation of its overall strategic direction
Financial Analysis
- Engage in ongoing cost reduction analyses in all areas of the company
- Review the performance of competitors and report on key issues to management
- Engage in benchmarking studies to establish areas of potential operational improvement
- Interpret the company's financial results to management and recommend improvement activities
- Review company bottlenecks and recommend changes to improve the overall level of company throughput
- Participate in target costing activities to create products that meeting predetermined price goals
- Assist in the determination of product pricing in relation to features offered and competitor pricing
- Compile key business metrics and report on them to management
- Create additional analyses and reports as requested by management
Accounting
- Coordination with accounting department / agency
- Oversee collection, organization and archiving of all necessary accounting documents
- Coordinate and implement all tax related obligations of the company
- Review and advise on all issues related to accounting and taxes
- Contact with tax authorities, banks and other financial institutions
Management
- Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures
- Manage outsourced functions
- Oversee all financial operations of the company and its subsidiaries
