Process Engineer

Vorwerk Autotec is a global developer, manufacturer, and distributor of rubber bushes and bearings for automotive suspension components. To strengthen the Vorwerk Autotec team in Čačak, we are looking for a:

Process Engineer

You will be responsible for improving safety, quality, productivity, and overall performance focusing on the development of standards, processes, and the utilization of staff and equipment to improve production and related operations.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

• Planning, preparing, and documenting work steps, workflows and procedures; 
• Performing and organizing production for new projects, Tryouts, PPAPs, 0-series;
• Creating work and process instructions, as well as changeover and TPM instructions (autonomous maintenance);
• Supporting running production in reaching Key Performance Indicators;
• Keep update Control Plan, FMEA, and all process-related documents;
• Comparing target and actual performance of capacities in general (e.g. manufacturing times), and defining optimization steps;
• Planning production, procurement of necessary material, tooling, and equipment;
• Revising technical documentation and technical requirements;
• Optimizing process steps and examining new production methods;
• Planning and executing production trials, changeover workshops;
• Planning and controlling installations of new lines and modifications on existing machines;
• Coordinating activities with all involved departments (mainly Logistic, Technical and Quality Department);
• Coordinating activities with external suppliers (machine, tooling, and material suppliers)

Your qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering;
• Minimum 2-year experience in a relevant field, preferably in the automotive industry;
• Experience with plastics injection would be considered as a plus;
• Previous experience in assembly is preferred;
• Well-versed with Office software;
