Production Quality Engineer C&S
The Quality Engineer represents the customer internal or external within his area of responsibility, and is responsible to ensure that the product is manufactured is according to the customer/internal specifications. Coordinates all Quality activities within his area of responsibility, sustains the corporate Quality targets, supports Problem Solving and contributes to CIPs
Your Responsibilities
- Ensure that the product is manufactured according to the customer/internal specifications
- Coordinate all quality activities (change management, process audit, problem solving, etc.)
- Apply quality principles, analyze quality records, prepare reports and recommend improvements
- Participate to the root cause analysis for customer quality complaints and communicate all steps with the customer
- Review quality data and analyze for trend/deviations. Initiate countermeasures or deeper analysis to understand root cause of trend/deviation and set up actions to solve the problem and avoid reoccurrence
- Conduct inspection, verification and validation of components or materials used in manufacturing process
- Identify and address any technical or quality related problems of the products / process and continuously refine and improve testing procedures
- Update necessary documents (control plan, PFMEA, Working Instructions, COL ...), document quality issues and performance measures for management review
- Implement quality assurance regulations
- Support Quality and Reliability Manager in supervision of all quality control aspects of the process
Your Profile
- VI or VII degree of professional qualification in the field of Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering / Technology Faculty
- Relevant professional experience of preferably more than three year in similar positions, preferably gained in Automotive/ Manufacturing industry
- Relevant experience in problem solving techniques such as 8D, FTA, 5Why, Ishikawa, DOE
- Working knowledge of IATF 16949 Quality Standards
- Proficient English language skills: spoken and written
- Advanced MS Office user
- High responsibility and technical understanding
- Proactive, highly organized person with high problem-solving skills, good time management and affinity for teamwork
- Willingness to learn continuously
- Neutral and objective judgement, systematic work style
