Job Description

Reporting to the Global HR Manager, you will provide strategic oversight and direction to the HR function of the Serbia HR Department in line with the business goals and needs. You will coach, train and manage the HR Junior Profile and collaborate with the HR Global Manager, local Country Manager and partner with local Business Leaders, give life to our Values and live them, over key areas such as building SAGlobal to be an “employer of choice”, talent management, employee engagement, SAGlobal Serbia policies and procedures and support HR Global Manager and local Contry Manager in Serbia office reorganization. In this role you will act as a true business partner to business unit heads to review and further develop existing human resources policies and practices as well as to implement new initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the HR Global Manager, local Country Manager and HR Junior profile to develop and implement an HR strategy to support the achievement of business goals and objectives
  • Employer branding: collaborate with HR Global Manager, Marketing and HR Junior Profile in order to build SAGlobal to be an 'employer of choice' though multiple employee initiatives ensuring consistent messaging through the recruitment cycle to reinforce the employer brand. Ensuring our online reputation is protected at all times
  • Employee engagement: Plan regular opportunities to gauge levels of employee engagement across the business, analyse results to implement appropriate remedial action. Work closely with HR Global Manager and local HR Junior Profile to develop consistent corporate onboarding for new employees
  • Talent Management: Ensure SAGlobal recruits and retains the best talent in-house, co-ordinating succession planning, workforce planning and learning and development. Ensuring the opportunity for internal mobility and migration
  • Initiate and develop SAGlobal Serbia participation to key forums in Serbia
  • Manage Compensation process; collaborate with HR Global Manager and local management in order to create a better and more attractive Compensation Package and Benefits
  • Work on a consistent payscale
  • Act as the escalation point of contact for local HR issues when necessary
  • Provide HR support to the Serbia Business Managers
  • Collaborate with HR Global Manager in the implementation of Perform Yard for the performance review and Talent for the HR function, acting as the key stakeholder in the implementation
  • Initiate and supervise regular Performance Reviews along with local managers
  • Implementation of global, corporate policies and strategies
  • Budget management regarding HR function
  • Carry out additional, reasonable duties as may occur from time to time as instructed by members of the Executive Team

Who we are looking for

You will be a qualified human resource professional in a strategic HR role with a proven track record in developing and implementing HR strategy; including elements such as talent management and employee engagement.

Proactive and independent, you will be a reliable team member and highly collaborative. You will collaborate with HR Global Manager and overview a range of strategic projects for Serbia while maintaining a practical 'hands-on' approach. You will also possess diplomacy, integrity and professionalism and have the ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels.

We want you to be an advocate for HR procedures ensuring all employees are treated fairly and consistently at all times. You should be able to challenge management when necessary.

What would we expect from you?

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in same or similar position in IT industry
  • Excellent written and communication skills in English
