Position Description

As a Software Developer, you’ll be working on building core Basiq products for the financial “fintech” industry. Your will be a part of the core development team working with highly skilled professionals. The work is a blend of backend and frontend development and provides opportunities to switch between domains or stay within a prefered one. We have no technology constraints but to use the best of breed. Our technology stack consists of: AWS, Golang, DynamoDB, MongoDB, Redis, Kibana, Elasticsearch, NodeJS, Javascript, React, Github. We develop software using Kanban approach, use test driven development approach, we embrace open source solutions and are working toward a full continuous delivery setup.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain effective, efficient, reusable, and reliable code

• Full lifecycle development of software products
• Integrate customer-facing elements with server-side logic
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs and devise elegant solutions
• Make technical decisions related to new products and functionality (strategic or tactical)

Requirements

• You must have 3+ years of software development experience and enjoy working in a dynamic team
• You are proactive and open-minded
• Experience with Golang is considered an advantage (otherwise training will be provided)
• You are excited about deploying code more than once a day and collaborating daily with the team
• You are comfortable with iterative and incremental development
• You have good verbal and communications skills in English
• Experience in the financial business domain is considered an advantage
