Sportmarket Limited — Customer Support Specialist | iGaming & Crypto Payments
Sportmarket Limited is an international company providing services to online sports betting operators worldwide, including marketing, consulting, and web development. We are currently looking for a Customer Support Specialist to join our team. The position is based in our offices in the city center of Belgrade.
As a Customer Support Specialist at Sportmarket, you will be the first point of contact for our customers and users throughout every step of the way. You will handle daily tasks, manage priorities well, and communicate clearly while treating our partners as our top priority. Since a significant portion of our payments are processed in cryptocurrency (BTC, USDT, USDC), candidates with hands-on crypto experience will be strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Be the first line of contact for our clients via email, chat, and other communication channels
- Deliver prompt, professional, and clear support
- Troubleshoot user issues using internal back-office tools and escalate when necessary
- Assist customers with payment-related queries, including crypto deposits and withdrawals
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure client satisfaction
- Perform various ad hoc support tasks
Desired Skills and Experience
- Previous experience as a Customer Support Agent
- Experience working with backend (back-office) admin tools
- General software knowledge
- Good communication skills and a pleasant attitude toward clients
- Goal-oriented mindset with a competitive spirit
- Motivation to learn and grow professionally
- Strong team player — proactive, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
- Basic familiarity with crypto payment flows (wallet types, common networks like ERC-20, TRC-20, BEP-20)
Preferred Qualifications (strong advantage)
- Solid understanding of crypto payment flows: BTC, USDT, and USDC across major networks, wallet types, and common user errors (wrong network, unconfirmed transactions, etc.)
- Comfortable reading block explorers (Etherscan, Tronscan, mempool.space) and explaining transaction status to non-technical users
- Personal experience holding or transacting in crypto — you understand the user's perspective when something goes wrong
- Hands-on experience with crypto exchanges (Binance, Coinbase) or crypto payment processing in a customer-facing role
- Prior experience in the online gambling or iGaming industry
- Solid understanding of compliance procedures and regulatory requirements in the gambling sector
- Experience using Slack, CRM platforms (Zendesk, Intercom, or similar)
- Understanding of ticketing systems, internal knowledge bases, or basic helpdesk workflows
- Good working knowledge of Office 365 tools (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
Candidate Requirements
- Excellent English language skills, both written and verbal
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to communicate effectively through multiple channels (email, chat, video)
- Ability to learn fast and adapt to changes quickly
- Well-organized with strong time management — efficient, decisive, proactive, and assertive
