Java Software Engineer

Qualified candidates will possess experience with object oriented programming, excellent Java coding skills, experience with web application development and verbal/written communication skills. Candidate will work on an extremely interesting project that combines top technologies.

But we set the bar high, here is what we expect:

• At least 3 years of experience with Java technologies and OO programming
• Experience with relational database management systems and SQL
• Writing high quality code
• Documenting code in accordance with standards
• Producing functional UI and practical solutions
• Experience with source control systems (Git, SVN, etc.)
• Passion and initiative for continual learning about new technologies and development approaches
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

Following skills will be considered an advantage:

• Experience with Javascript, jQuery, ExtJs, Ajax, HTML, CSS
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Strong Linux OS experience
• Knowledge of REST Web services
• Experience with developing large-scale server applications
• Experience with NoSQL databases
