For our companies in Serbia, we are looking for a Senior administrative and accounting manager
The Administrative and accounting Manager, occupying a senior leadership role within the organization, will be responsible for financial, legal, HR and regulatory aspects of the companies in Serbia, as well as oversight of its infrastructure and administrative functions.
This is a wide-ranging role, across multiple entities, demanding technical knowledge, experience, commerciality, discretion and an organized mindset.
Responsibilities will Include:
Finance
- Keep accurate records for all daily transactions, process invoices.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
- Financial reporting, revenue monitoring and management, cost control, tax compliance
- Coordinate and work with outside accounting offices for tax preparation, auditing, banking, regulatory, and other financial, legal and regulatory needs.
- Sufficient headline knowledge and awareness of tax and structuring issues (VAT, corporation tax, withholding tax, management and control etc) to guide structuring decisions, and to coordinate with professional advisors as necessary
- Reconcile bank statements
- Participate in financial audits
- Track bank deposits and payments
- Review and implement financial policies
- International rules knowledge
HR and Legal
- Payroll in coordination with accounters
- Responsible for regulatory compliance and oversight for all aspects of the group and its transactions
- Review and prepare contracts such as NDAs and employments contracts, as well as familiarity with transaction documentation and ability to lead and coordinate a transaction process (lawyers, counterparties, etc).
Technology
- Manage IT function and stay up to date with technological advances and software to help streamline the business
About You
- Proven work experience in a similar role. Minimum of 5 years working experience.
- Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures
- Experience using financial software
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Solid knowledge of relevant tax, accounting, HR and regulatory matters
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills
- Sharp time management skills
- Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data
- Organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, and an ability to work under pressure are all critical skills
- 'Can-do' attitude, solution focused with plenty of initiative, and ability to work in small teams
- English mandatory. Others foreign language skills an advantage (French or others), but not essential
- Understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
