ASSISTANT TO DRY AND CANNED WET PET FOOD FORMULATION

 Reports to: Formulist, Quality Manager, General Manager and CEO

Responsibilities:

• Harmonizing product formulas with the required product quality standards supervised by formulist
• Cooperation with republic veterinary inspectors supervised by formulist
• Collecting and preparing samples in colaboration with Vet inspector and external laboratories
• Collecting all results of analysis (raw materials and final products) from external and internal lab and analysis all data and preparing reports supervised by formulist
• Assist in resolving external and internal product complains supervised by formulist
• Linking the recipe to the production software supervised by formulist
• Confirmation of the suitability of the use of new raw materials in recipes supervised by formulist
• Communication with logistics and purchase department
• Follow the legal regulations concerning pet nutrition supervised by formulist
• A member of the HCCP product safety team
• Respects the documents and procedure SRPS ISO 9001: 2015 and HACCP
• Performs other tasks at the director's order

Mandatory requirements:

• High School education: food technologist, nutricionist, chemist, veterinarian, biology scienses, agriculture science;
• Minimum grade VI / VII;
• Work experience from min. 1 year in the industry, in the food formulating;
• Knowledge of computer skills (MS Office package, Internet, other software necessary for the organization of the production process)
• Good general technical education and experience, knowledge of food processing is an advantage;English fluency, Italian preferably
• Accountable to the immediate superior and director.
