You are a versatile junior with a great interest in game development, willing to learn and take part in a broad range of development, testing, marketing, organizational and administrative tasks in our team. You’ll assist developers and the marketing team with various logistical short-term tasks, continually learning more and improving your skills while helping the rest of the team maintain focus on the long-term tasks. Future excelling in any particular skill could lead to being promoted to a Game Developer or a different position.
Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain files, tables, lists, paperwork and other items
- Assist the team with systematic development tasks, tweaks and modifications in the Unity engine or Blender (training provided per task)
- Play-test and bug-hunt our projects
- Take screenshots and videos as needed for promotional purposes
- Actively seek to improve workflow of all short-term tasks
- Occasionally handle equipment shopping, assemble hardware / furniture
- Actively keep in touch with overall project development plans and ongoings
Requirements:
- Tech-savvy (fast typing, internet, software / hardware usage & installation)
- Goal-driven problem solving (understanding the big picture)
- Self-organizing and proactive
- Excellent communication and team spirit
- Desire to advance your game development career
- Very good verbal & written communication in English
- Profound gaming history and interest
Bonus:
- Experience with game development
- Basic knowledge of relatable software packages (Unity, Photoshop, Blender…)
