Job Description – Associate Project Manager
Role Overview

Project Management is core service provided by the Building Consultancy [BCD] department, one of five business lines in CBRE SEE. The BCD team focuses on providing project management for tenants, investors and developers on new builds and refurbishment projects across South East Europe.
Growth requirements of the BCD service line is immediate and a part of CBRE SEE strategy and 2022/2023 business plan.
The team has a strong order book for the current year with some positive and significant pipeline to bring further revenue into 2022. To support both the senior team and current and projected workflow demands, there is a requirement for recruitment of an entry level project management recruit into the team, with base of operations in Belgrade, Serbia. It is anticipated that a newcomer will work alongside the teams’ seniors on larger instructions and will quickly demonstrate autonomy on smaller projects.
Specifically, the new recruit will be directly involved with the delivery of interior fit out projects in the SEE region and actively assist other teams during the process of adaptation. The role has a keen focus on technical and engineering proficiency with a view to grow commercial understanding. This role offers an opportunity to strengthen Project Management experience and to broaden the recruit’s skill base further into commercial property with exposure to clients and influencers alike.
Key Responsibilities
- Performing an Assistant role on larger projects and quickly progressing to a more autonomous role on smaller projects, provide Project Management delivery service to tenants on a broad range of refurbishment and redevelopment projects
- Assist with and manage the direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with CBRE company strategy, commitments and goals
- Assist with and manage internal and external project teams (consulting and contracting) in the successful delivery of all projects and lead the planning and implementation of project
- Assist with and manage the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
- Assist with and manage the definition of project tasks and resource requirements
- Assist with and manage the development of project programmes and overall strategy plans
- Assist with and manage the assembly and coordination of project team members as required to suit complexity of the project
- Participate in the management of project budgets
- Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
- Assist with and manage the monitoring and reporting on progress of the projects to all stakeholders
- Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions
- Participate in the implementation and management of project changes
- Participate in providing efficient and timely support to other CBRE service lines where required to assist in securing instruction
- Identify and deliver opportunities to cross sell other CBRE service lines
- Identify fee earning opportunities within both internal CBRE market place and external market place
- Directly contribute to the overall annual fee target of the Building Consultancy team
- Contribute to and assist in the management of new business pipeline

Qualifications
- Degree Level – MSc in engineering science [civil engineering, architecture, mechanical & electrical engineering etc.] is mandatory and a minimal requirement. Candidates without relevant technical background will not be considered. Candidates in the process of finishing a relevant master’s degree will be considered.
- Excellent English language is mandatory. Third language is an advantage
- Driving licence is an advantage
