Hours: 7am – 4pm CST / 2pm – 11pm CET

Position Summary:

The Business Analyst supports the Sales & Marketing organization with critical data-driven insights to inform decisions on customers, products, and market opportunities. This role requires cross-functional collaboration between sales, customer service, finance, and manufacturing to optimize business performance. The ideal candidate is proficient in data analysis and eager to develop comprehensive business acumen across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Assessment and Recommendations

• Provide data-driven recommendations on new opportunities and changes to current business.
• Assess and communicate profitability while balancing margins, quality, service, product capabilities, and risks.
• Serve as the escalation point for product, pricing, and sales policy issues.

2. Sales & Marketing Support

• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing Communications Manager to develop product sell sheets and promotional materials.
• Manage product sample inventory

3. Reporting & Analytics

• Responsible for the sales forecast and daily reporting for against orders entered
• Analyze and report on product and customer profitability.
• Track and communicate internal and external sales and product trends.

4. SAP Support

• Create and maintain customer master data for the organization
• Update customer pricing in SAP, including spot and ongoing program pricing.
• Support the Certificate of Analysis with customer data
• Provide ah hoc support to sales, technical customer service and customer service as required

5. Executive Support

• Support VP Marketing and Sales Leadership with analysis, reporting, and ad-hoc projects.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a business analyst or similar analytical role.
• Experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP).
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
• Familiarity with the paper, packaging, or manufacturing industry is a plus.
