TeleSign is hiring a Business Analyst to drive the success of high-profile, direct margin optimization initiatives. Business Analyst executes the company’s pricing strategy, measures its success and makes operational decisions to adjust pricing based on results to maximize direct margin. A successful candidate is a problem-solver with strong work ethic and communication skills. This role directly impacts the achievement of company objectives. Compensation includes salary (commensurate with experience) plus a bonus for attaining both personal and company objectives.

Essential Functions

  • Maximize TeleSign’s direct margin by setting optimal pricing for new products, prospective customers and existing clients
  • Monitor market and client activity, and make operational decisions based on observations with speed and accuracy
  • Measure and forecast the impact of pricing and buying decisions on business KPIs
  • Develop tools and reports to inform tactical and strategic decisions
  • Use integral pricing knowledge to partner with and inform decisions made by the supplier management teams
  • Work closely with Sales, FP&A, Routing and Product
  • Maintain a proactive understanding of the telecommunications industry, helping TeleSign retain its competitive edge

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Master of Science degree in Economics, Statistics or other applicable fields
  • 2-4 years of work experience in business analytics, pricing strategy or revenue management
  • Proficient in English, verbal and written
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical and consultative skills
  • Keenly focused, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, effective at both technical and executive levels
  • Must be a self-motivated, problem-solver with a positive attitude
  • Interest in innovative technology, communications, or software industries

  • Experience working with global teams
  • Experience working closely with Sales teams
  • Experience with Tableau
  • Experience with Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud
