Responsibilities
- Participate in the expansion plans and strategy development for key markets.
- Locate potential business deals by contacting potential customers; discovering and exploring opportunities.
- Gather info, as well as analyze and present business cases for new opportunities.
- Close new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.
- Update own knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
- Identify and attend trade-shows and other business functions to keep abreast of developments in the marketplace, to find potential new business, and to market full landscape services.
- Work closely with the Marketing department to design and execute prearranged strategies built around generating new business growth.
- Exploring opportunities to add value to the existing and prospective business operations.
- Drive “Request for quote” process with new prospects.
- Open business development dialog with target customers, particularly to build large strategic accounts.
- Interface with existing strategic customers to solidify mutual expectations of performance and growth.
- Define and follow up with yearly targets and objectives.
- Develop and implement strategies for expansion of existing and new services.
- Determine new opportunities by analyzing business needs.
- Develop and deliver business plans through carrying out research, formulating market analyses and delivering accurate business reports.
- Serve as a lead facilitator both internally and externally for projects.
- Develop and help manage client communication tools such as the corporate website.
- Proactively hunt for and establish communication with target organizations that can benefit from our services.
- Build a referral and lead generation network.

Ideally, someone already working in business development in real-estate for over three years, RICS accredited in combination with a completed MBA. This is a high-profile role which can potentially open up the opportunity to progress to market general manager.
