DAI is looking for a Business Development Assistant to join our busy Business Development Team within European Unit. This will be a full-time permanent role based either in our corporate office locations in Belgrade (Serbia) or Sofia (Bulgaria). The main purpose of this role is to assist Business Development Managers with the management of the project pipeline (applications and tenders).
Key tasks, duties and responsibilities:
- Supporting with the development of French and Spanish expressions of interest and tenders.
- Compiling administrative documents and ensuring they meet compliance obligations and client requirements.
- Coordinating with partner organisations during the tender preparation process.
- Managing the design process of technical proposals.
- Supporting with recruitment tasks where necessary.
- Facilitating information sharing within the team, department and with other DAI offices.
Qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience:
Essential:
- University degree or equivalent working experience.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Strong organisational and compliance skills.
- Proactive, assertive, and action-oriented with strong intellectual agility and ability.
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Fluency in French or Spanish (fluency in both laguages is an additional asset).
Desirable:
Understanding of and interest in international development and working in an international/multicultural environment.
Proven experience supporting consulting services or international development projects.
Experience in quality management systems.
