Business Development Manager - Construction

On behalf of our client, engineering, and construction company Kesz International, which offers comprehensive services in the field of industrial construction, we are looking for a motivated candidate to successfully fill the position:

Business Development Manager - Construction m/f
Place of work: Belgrade (Serbia)

Job description and responsibilities:

•    Identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, products and services
•    Seek out the appropriate contact in an organisation and generate customers
•    Meet with customers/clients face to face or over the phone
•    Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these needs
•    Think strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business
•    Work strategically - carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational changes
•    Draw up client contracts 
•    Have a good understanding of the businesses products or services and be able to advise others about them
•    Discuss promotional strategy and activities with the marketing department
•    Cooperate with all in-house team as appropriate
•    Seek ways of improving the way the business operates
•    Attend seminars, conferences and events where appropriate
•    Keep up with trends and changes in the construction business world

Requirements:

•    University degree in Engineering / Business / Management / Marketing or another related field
•    5+ years of experience in sales / business development/ construction industry is a must
•    Proficiency in English language (spoken and written), German language is a plus
•    Proven ability to assess and respond to RFQs / RFPs, NDAs and contracts
•    Experience building and managing personal relationships with clients
•    Construction industry experience strongly preferred
•    Excellent skills of communication, collaboration, presentation, organizational, negotiation and persuasion
•    A highly motivated individual, persistence, hard working and determined
•    Proven work experience
•    Experienced driver
•    Interested in further professional development
•    Domestic national
