Business Development Manager

Location: Belgrade

 

Description:

As Business Development Manager your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to identifying, prospecting, developing and closing key clients, accounting for all phases of the sales process. As a key member of the Sales Team you will participate in the development and implementation of the strategic sales plan for the assigned territories and contribute in setting best practice at global level.

Core duties and responsibilities include:

  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of DevTech’s core services and products and utilize this knowledge to successfully drive new business
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline
  • Build and maintain relationships with new business prospects
  • Build lasting, consultative relationships with influencers, stakeholders and decision makers at senior executive level (C-level) in key accounts
  • Complete research to identify new markets and opportunities and to stimulate interest
  • Conduct presentations to potential clients through direct communication in face to face meetings, telephone, calls and e-mails
  • Negotiate and re-negotiate by phone, email, and in person
  • Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within the company’s CRM
  • Identify issues, challenges and briefs from clients and take them to the involved departments
  • Maintain a database of prospects and regularly contact them to find out more about their organization, their needs - look to build and maintain strong working relationships with new and existing clients, educate them on company’s offerings/products/values
  • Plan persuasive approaches and pitches that will conduct new business
  • Prospect for new clients by networking, advertising via social networks or other means of generating interest from potential clients
  • Responsible for identifying and/or qualifying leads provided by Sales Operations
  • Selling IT solutions and products across a variety of verticals
  • Identify, qualify and drive new partners
  • Show a track record of sales success and new business development
  • Work closely with the Sales Operations / Marketing team to identify innovative campaigns and programs to attract new business
  • Work to and achieve value KPIs/sales targets 
  • Attend industry events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends

Desirable skills:

  • Bachelor Degree in Business, Technology or Marketing
  • Minimum 2 years IT / technology sales experience
  • Knowledge and experience of commercial and technical proposals is a plus
  • Experienced in and comfortable working with technology
  • Demonstrated communication and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in new business development strategies
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English (other languages are a plus)
  • Inspires and engages others, promoting collaborative environments
  • Self-starter, high-energy, with ability to execute on business objectives
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem solving, and collaboration skills
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Ability to multitask/run multiple activities concurrently
