Business Excellence Lead
(Location: Belgrade Plant)
Purpose of the job:
The Business Excellence Manager is the owner of a local continuous improvement process – including managing all relevant systems and data analysis.
Key responsibilities:
- Identifies the main opportunities for improving the business level and other potential initiatives in the field of business excellence;
- Promotes the culture of business excellence through the introduction of decisions based on data and facts, systemic thinking, and various statistical tools;
- Is responsible for sharing best practices and knowledge in the field of business excellence;
- Strives to control and improve processes and products;
- Communicates with functional colleagues on business excellence issues;
- Trains local employees (e.g. yellow/green belt);
- Continuous improvement of TPM and Kaizen initiatives;
- Communicates business excellence through the entire factory organisation, manages visual communication;
- Managing projects supported by business excellence;
- Managing the local CI project portfolio - Reporting on progress with respect to goals and planning;
- Assumes the role of project manager, depending on the project selection - Assists during project implementation, provides functional inputs and identifies functional resources;
- Attends all assigned meetings and acts as a centre for everyone who is part of the project team;
- Is responsible for the integration project and process improvement in everyday factory activities;
- System and data origin management;
- Develops and maintains effective IMS, including training, formulation, and the evaluation of SOPs (standard operating procedures);
- Analyses data as part of an integrated process control programme;
- Develops, implements and maintains an effective backup system, using Infinity, Apriso and other systems, including training;
- Participates in the implementation and maintenance of the Lean standard;
- Provides suggestions and participates in continuous improvement projects (Business excellence);
- Spreading Lean culture and way of thinking. Planning, launching and developing Lean projects;
- In connection with the above-mentioned jobs, all jobs that the Employer assigns to them, as well as all jobs that are specifically agreed on in writing.
Key stakeholders: All local plant departments, all Business Excellence (Lean) function in BPE and other BPE locations, consultants and services providers.

Requirements:
Professional & Education Qualifications:
- University degree in Engineering
- Lean Six Sigma certified - Yellow or Green belt
Previous experience:
- Extensive working experience in similar positions within manufacturing
- Participation in Kaizen projects / TPM / 5S
Skills and competencies:
- Project management skills
- Proactive and inovative individual with strong organizational skills
- Strong analytical and communication skills
Languages required:
- Fluent written and oral English
