Job summary:

The role consists of collaboration with Global Wholesale (Global Wholesale is the international wholesale business unit, organized under the Markets division of the Telenor Group. They provide international voice, roaming, roaming connect solutions and connectivity services and also give access to the world by connecting everyone and everything everywhere. They help operators offer their retail customers quality international communication); numbering plan analysis and destination management responsibilities, with the objective of maximising market share and profit margins. It includes support to ongoing analysis and implementation of our voice and SMS numbering plans, and also responsibility for analyzing market conditions and providing commercial support to the sales team.

Responsibilities:

• Optimise the routing for an assigned portfolio of international destinations with the goal to achieve best quality and cost levels
• Drive down cost to improve gross profit and market competitiveness;
• Review country dial code changes to determine correct definitions and routing breakouts
• Identifying opportunities and making suggestions for profitable routing breakouts
• Working with the NOC and Service Level Management team for quality trouble shooting and to make routing adjustments based on market conditions and quality incidents
• Ongoing quality monitoring to ensure highest possible standards for our customers
• Monitor the progress of the outgoing traffic on deal commitments
• Assisting in the deal approval process where required

Reguirements:

• University degree, with a business or analytical background
• International experience is an advantage
• Strong Excel skills
• Good commercial understanding
• Background in telecommunications preferred
• Fluent in English (written and verbal)
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to interface with relevant stakeholders
• Detailed and results oriented
• A self-starter who can work independently but also with colleagues located globally
