Component Modification Planner
As a part of Component Services, the Component Modification Planner is responsible for the implementation, proper set-up, planning and management of all modification programs initiated and released by the Component Engineering within the Component Services component pool. As a member of modification team, the position holder ensures the smooth operation, modification status and keeps critical modification campaigns such as AD related modifications under control.
Your responsibilities:
- Provide liaison with customers and internal stakeholders (purchasing, customer demand management, repair management, aircraft modification planning, technical programs team) for the coordination and control of modification campaigns
- Coordinate and internally order of material for in-house capability and external modification
- Set-up of modification in SAP (status, planning information)
- Track and monitor of modification status and initiate appropriate actions where necessary
- Maintain effective communication with other departments - specifically component engineering
- Participate in cross-functional projects as a technical representative
- Perform investigations due to technical occurrences and ensure implementation of corresponding measures
- Support adherence to the company data quality standards
Your profile:
To fulfil this position successfully, your qualifications must include:
- University degree in engineering is desired
- Profound technical and administrative background
- Airline industry or MRO experience, ideally as a Planner or Licensed Mechanic, is preferred
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Knowledge of Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) programming in relation to Microsoft Office (Access and Excel)
- SAP basic knowledge, advanced knowledge desired
- Fluency in English, German is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, team player and cross-cultural awareness
- Analytical and structural mind set
- Flexible approach with cost awareness and long term perspective
- Self-starter with a can-do mentality
- Independent and self-motivated personality with an affinity to details and high quality standards
