Consumer Postpaid Segment Expert

Consumer postpaid segment:

Team responsible for consumer postpaid part of Telenor customer base, with profit and loss responsibility, focusing on product portfolio development, base growth and customer satisfaction. Segment is setting directions related to strategic and operational development of consumer postpaid and executes on those through coordination of cross-functional activities for reaching desired KPIs (revenue, cost, base size, customer satisfaction and value, etc.).

Responsibilities:

Propose business ideas to drive strategic and tactical development of postpaid portfolio, with aim to:

  • Increase number of users by attracting new and retaining existing ones.
  • Increase customer satisfaction and value.
  • Plan and end-to-end manage projects on the segment road map, in line with go-to-market strategy:
  • Test initial business idea through market research, develop it into full project proposal and provide initial management support.
  • Conduct business analysis to assess profitability of proposed idea - develop financial business case and assess the impact on company KPIs.
  • Lead wide cross-functional teams (market research, business intelligence, pricing, devices, product development, sales, customer care, technology, controlling, regulatory, legal, risk, marcom, PR, training, etc.) in project analysis and implementation.
  • Brief marketing communication and PR departments for marketing campaigns and engage in selecting and shaping optimal creative concepts.
  • Prepare sales and customer care agents for new products in portfolio.
  • Hold end-to-end responsibility for reporting project status, ensuring management support in each of project stages and following up product and campaign performance after the launch.
  • Accountable for periodical customer base, revenue and costs segment forecasts.
  • Collaborate with other departments to facilitate analysis and identify process improvement or cost reduction opportunities.
  • Advise or educate management and set objectives and direction, in regards to own area of expertise, in order to support management in decision making processes.
  • Monitor market dynamics, analyze competitors’ moves, assess impact on segment performance and propose relevant activities
  • Provide guidance and support to junior segment team members.
  • Provide expert support on projects led by other teams.

Requirements:

  • University degree in economics, marketing or engineering from a reputable institution
  • 2+ years of work experience in product development, project management and/or value creation, preferably in telecommunications industry
  • Strong analytical skill set for mathematical and logical problem-solving
  • High level of personal integrity and experience in stakeholder management across organizational levels
  • Personally and/or professionally familiar with online concepts
  • Proactive and self-driven person with can-do attitude
  • Capable to prioritize tasks and focus on results, in goal oriented, dynamic and hectic environment
  • Team player with great interpersonal skills.
  • Open to change
  • Excellent presentation skills with proficiency in English language
