We are looking for the Content Specialist who communicates, writes, and edits dynamic and engaging Web-based communications in excellent written English, with specific focus on the consumer health, wellness, and medical markets. The Content Specialist will collaborate with the Executive, Medical, Content and SEO, Marketing and Product teams to produce cohesive, results-oriented digital communications.
The ideal candidate must be highly creative, ambitious, proactive, and energetic with plenty of ideas and solutions for designing and writing optimized content assets with multiple voices. Company assets include business blogs, technical white papers, and additional digital based communications vehicles. All content produced must be structured to ensure clarity and usability and must be optimized for popular search engines.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Write compelling technical, business, and product content for the Blogs, and assorted technical content assets.
- Research, interview, and write Vibrant Vitality Clinic bylined Blog articles. Must maintain goals of creating compelling content that supports the value props of the company and product adoption of our features and services, to drive organic SEO traffic.
- Develop SEO content using Vibrant Vitality Clinic and Vibrant Skin product web and business standards to implement, and enhance the marketing, public relations, and communication efforts of the company.
- Work collaboratively with departments to review and edit Blog articles, social and digital content produced by various departments.
- Work directly with stakeholders to define objectives and create content across platforms.
- Work together with the business planning team to develop communications concepts and strategies.
- Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent regarding style, quality, and tone of voice, and optimized for search and social promotion
- Perform other content development duties as required.
Key Skills:
- Extremely strong, fluent written and spoken English skills are absolutely mandatory, as well as multi-voice (persona) writing skills. Familiarity with American colloquial English a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or equivalent education or experience.
- 2+ years’ experience planning and executing Product or Technical Content Development, and Communications required.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills.
- Ability to follow a style guide and adapt their writing based on task-specific requirements.
- Experience working with content management systems (e.g., WordPress).
- Experience with Microsoft Office and screen capturing tools, such as Snagit.
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS a plus.
- SEO knowledge a plus.
- Experience in the health, wellness or medial industries preferred
