We are looking for a Corporate Lawyer

What you are going to do:

• Give legal advice to clients on corporate governance, corporate affairs and transactions, policies, procedures, finances, intellectual property, employment, operations, and regulatory issues, and guide them through regulatory compliance
• Perform complex legal research and extensive due diligence exercises
• Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize agreements in various commercial areas
• Draft legal opinions on various matters concerning clients and their operations including but not limited to regulatory compliance
• Anticipate and protect clients from legal risks and regulatory violations in all business transactions and develop strategies for risk-mitigation
• Negotiate on the clients’ behalf to create, modify, and execute deals
• Advise clients in current and new projects, partnerships, mergers, divestitures, and acquisitions
• Manage different types of legal reports and other legal and supporting documents as required
• Represent clients in complex commercial disputes in front of the courts and arbitrations
• Meet clients, assess their needs and concerns, and prepare and issue proposals for legal services to clients
• Educate and train junior colleagues in work processes
• Review, correct, and sign off outputs of junior colleagues
• Collaborate closely with the business development team by proactively suggesting business development initiatives and participating in them

What we are looking for:

• Serbian Bar admission
• Minimum three years of professional experience in a top-tier corporate environment (law firm, in-house counsel)
• High standards of ethics and professional integrity
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in dealing with complex legal matters, and a highly detail-oriented
• High degree of independence, initiative, and decisiveness, with a desire to be challenged and think outside the box
• Ability to prioritize in a fast-moving environment
• Proficiency in working with MS Office package and related applications
• Advanced written and spoken English.
• Flexible in both working independently and in a team.
