Data Master, Analyst

The Insight Data Service (IDS) team provides world-class expertise in the collection and validation of investment data for investors in alternative assets. IDS streamlines the exchange of data between limited and general partners, allowing investors the continuous access to accurate and standardized data. Insight Data Service is a part of Aladdin Business.

The Aladdin Business is comprised of 1,200+ professionals responsible for implementing and supporting our Aladdin clients, sales and marketing, and ensuring the Aladdin Community maximizes Aladdin products through engagement and education.

Role Description

The Insight Data Service (IDS) is seeking a Data Master for timely IDS master data onboarding and data release, to work with other stakeholders to provide world-class service to Clients and working with internal teams to build and maintain master data.

Key responsibilities include

• Identify and maintain master entities and IDS standard master data in Insight;
• Define rules for configuration of new fund and records;
• Develop and maintain tools for master data identification and deduplication;
• Perform checks and identify corrections needed in IDS master data and data release process;
• Participate in onboarding by identifying funds and fund managers, fund overlaps and work with Client Service team to create and onboard new entities;
• Work with internal teams and roles and provide support to ensure all funds and records are related and ready for campaign activation.

Experience Required

• Bachelor or Master degree (preferably in Economics, Organizational Sciences, Mathematics, or related Financial background)
• More than 2 years of relevant professional experience
• Advanced user of MS Office (especially advanced Excel functions, e.g. V-lookups, Macros)
• Fluent English is a must
• Strong interest in FinTech industry is preferred
