Due to further development of our graphical team in Belgrade we are searching for qualified and experienced candidates for the position of:

Design Manager

(Location: Belgrade)

Do you want to play a key role in the design and production process for the cartons of the future and coordinate the design process between sales and production?

We produce product types in many different varieties and in very large volumes. The company is looking for Design Manager for reprographic process to strengthen the international Repro-team to handle the complexities of our portfolio control and design process. 

The Design Manager will be located at our offices in Belgrade, Serbia, but will become a part of the larger international Repro-department.  In this role, the Design Manager will be able to make use of their abilities as a print and graphic specialist, but also to an even greater extent of their abilities to coordinate and manage a design process from beginning to end through close collaboration with our clients, local sales units, and production plants.

Design Manager will report to the Manager Operations Repro hub and they will collaborate closely with colleagues in our office in Belgrade and other colleagues from the international repro operation team.

Commercial graphic designer with a good overall view and strong communication skills

As Design Manager you will liaise between the commercial client focus and the production process. You will be able to enter into a dialogue with the client in order to find the right solution for them based on their needs and requirements whilst adhering to Elopak production efficiency and consistency demands.

Your background is within graphic design, and you are a skilled user of Adobe Creative Suite. You have a creative approach to executing tasks, and at the same time, you are able to handle the role as coordinator of assignments from clients where the graphic design process is carried out by other members of the international team.

You will work independently, proactive and able to handle a high work pace with a multiple inputs and assignments, which need to be prioritised and carried out using solid professional attention to details. This will demand of you to be a positive and down-to-earth person who is able to maintain focus and overview and at the same time able to accommodate urgent assignments and diverse challenges. As you will become a part of an international team, you need to possess good communication skills and be able to communicate clearly and freely with colleagues across geographical borders.   

Our ideal candidate needs to have

  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite programs (Photoshop, Illustrator etc.)
  • Knowledge of repro software (Artpro or PackEdge) will be considered as advantage
  • Knowledge of MS Office package
  • Fluent English both written and spoken
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a team and individually
  • Several years of working experience in the related area
  • Process thinking, systematic approach
  • Good communication skills internal/external.
  • Ambassadorial thinking
