Why do we need you?
We are growing our team and are in search of a person who can work with us on continuous improvement of the system and implementation of best-practice solutions, in coordination with our Sysadmin/DevOps team.
You will be working on maintaining, deploying and upgrading our infrastructure from code repositories to production servers.
You'll be responsible for:
- Deploying, improving, managing and monitoring of development, staging, and production environment,
- Maintaining the software source repository (Gitlab),
- Implementing and optimizing best-practice solutions for security and logging,
- Incorporating new software projects into the build process, and
- Contributing to our company-wide knowledge base.
You should have knowledge of / experience with:
- Linux and network infrastructure on a Senior Sysadmin level,
- Basic development principles and Python,
- Cloud services management (Preferably AWS),
- Nginx - know how server/location block resolution works,
- Virtualization containers (Preferably Docker),
- Automatic configuration management (Preferably Ansible),
- Version control (Preferably GIT), and
- Automating work instead of working by hand.
It will be considered a plus if you have experience with:
- ElasticSearch,
- Continuous integration (bonus if it is Jenkins),
- Basic database deploy management (bonus if it is PostgreSQL, MongoDB), and
- Gitlab.
