EHS Supervisor
Environmental Health and Safety Supervisor, Sremska Mitrovica
Eaton plant in Sremska Mitrovica has a great opportunity for an
experienced Health and Safety specialist. The plant is part of our
Electrical Engineering division EMEA and it is the only Eaton site in
Serbia. We are working closely with other sites throughout the region
in production of smartwire, automation, UPS, datacenter cabinets,

position for the site and is a part of our senior management team,
reporting directly to the Plant Manager.
About the role:
- Your task will be to oversee all Health and Safety issues on site
- Planning and organizing all activities related to plant maintenance
- Responsible for complying with the Risk Assessment Act, implementation of ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 standards as well as alignment with all legal requirements and internal standards
- Actively participating in planning the workplace, ensuring safe and healthy working conditions
- Responsibility for daily monitoring of processes and regular testing of equipment
- Responsibility for managing all hazards and different types of waste
- Monitoring all conditions that can lead to injuries and/ or illnesses
- Responsibility for organizing regular Health and Safety training for employees
- Continuously working on improvements, evaluating standards and internal processes
- Responsibility for adhering to and maintaining knowledge of all relevant legal requirements and internal standards in relation to health and safety, fire protection and environmental protection
- Working with senior management team and reporting directly to the Plant Manager
- Working with external regulators and other Eaton sites
What do we expect from you:
- A bachelors’ degree or equivalent
- Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety and Fire Safety Certificate
- Proficient IT skills
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work with people at all levels
- Capable of making independent decisions
- Able to influence others and be a skilled negotiator
- Speak fluent Serbian and English
