Purpose of the role:

• Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the equipment in the facility in both the production floor, warehouse and the office area.

Tasks:

• High safety awareness.
• Follow maintenance strategies, procedures and methods.
• Repair malfunctioning equipment units and broken structures.
• Diagnosing electrical issues and correcting them.
• Working on the installation of new manufacturing equipment.
• Calibration of equipment or machinery.
• Routine inspection and testing of equipment and machinery.
• Perform peer-to-peer inspections on work performed by our other maintenance technicians.
• Perform electrical systems maintenance.
• Quality check equipment regularly to ensure everything is in working order.
• Read blueprints.
• Perform light landscaping and groundskeeping work as needed.
• Assist in on-the-job-training of newly hired maintenance technicians.
• Perform administrative computer tasks as needed.

• Good diagnostic and problem-solving skills

Required education level and/or work experience:

• Technical high school
• Must hold a certificate or diploma in a related field
• Experience with technology maintenance required
• Thorough working knowledge of facility equipment units, their usage, and safety procedures
