System Architect/Tech Lead
We are looking for a results-driven Engineering Manager to manage our expanding software products. You have prior experience in technical leadership and setting standards in technical quality. As part of this role, you’d be leading multiple external software development teams. You’d be responsible for the overall technical solution, and leading discussions regarding integration between systems, to ensure that teams are aligned. Furthermore, you’d be doing period code reviews, setting technical standards, designing the direction of future solution architecture. You are interested in both business and technology, and you are motivated by solving challenges in leading multiple teams towards a common goal.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product Owners to form high level technical solutions
- Lead multiple technical teams by communicating with their tech leads
- Promote the “Contract First Design“ / “API First Design“ approach
- Coordinate technical discussions and ensure that technical tasks are organized within Jira
- Perform architecture reviews and code reviews
- Document existing architecture and propose future architecture
- Set and enforce technical standards software quality
- Review technical solutions and estimations from the development teams
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or equivalent)
- 5+ years of experience in software development, preferably .NET
- 2+ years of experience as a Tech Lead or Software Architect
- Understanding business needs and being able to communicate both with business and technical people
- Skilled in software architecture and best practices
- Experience with using tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Understanding agile methodologies
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- Professional, responsible and decision-oriented
- Problem solver and team player
- Desire for continuous improvement and learning
- Ability to work individually and as part of distributed cross-functional teams
- Good written English skillset
Bonus
- Experience in .NET team leadership
- Understanding of Test Driven Development (TDD)
- Understanding of Domain Driven Design (DDD)
- Understanding of design patterns, data structures and algorithms
