We are an international team looking for an enthusiastic and experienced professional who has a long-term vision to join our Inbox Kitchen team and become one of our core pillars who will proactively lead the company to launch and success.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Inbox Kitchen is looking to hire an experienced Executive Chef or Head Chef who will be responsible for Creating our brands menu recipes, source the ingredients and optimize for operational efficiency. Duties will be managing the Kitchen brigade and delegating tasks and responsibilities to subordinates. Create the kitchen team schedule, make sure equipment are well maintained and clean, Guarantee consistency in food production.

You will work directly under the supervision of our Head Chef and General Manager who will support you with your day-to-day task. Together you will grow create, improve, and perfect our items and brand.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Ensuring promptness, freshness, and quality of dishes
• Coordinating cooks’ tasks
• Implementing hygiene policies and examining equipment for cleanliness
• Designing new recipes, planning menus, and selecting plate presentations
• Reviewing staffing levels to meet service, operational, and financial objectives
• Hiring and training kitchen staff, such as cooks, food preparation workers, and dishwashers
• Performing administrative tasks, taking stock of food and equipment supplies, and doing purchase orders.
• Setting and monitoring performance standards for staff
• Obtaining feedback on food and service quality, and handling customer problems and complaints when needed
• Wow our clients with amazing dishes
• Make adjustments to food items to accommodate online orders with allergies or specific diet concerns
• Act as liaison to dispatch unit to ensure proper food service temperature
• Order ingredients and spices as needed
• Estimate expected food consumption and organizes preparation accordingly
• Keep records and accounts of food purchases
• Offer a creative menu to compete with other local restaurants
• Communicate with General Manager and Operations Manager about how to improve operational flow of service

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Native level Serbian fluency
• Working level English fluency
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 2+ years of culinary education
• 5+ year of experience in a similar position
• Advanced knowledge of food professional principles and practices
• Proficient knowledge of human resources management
• Excellent knowledge of BOH systems, ordering and inventory
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Available to work shifts, after hours, over weekends, and on public holidays
• Thorough experience with hot and cold food preparation techniques
• Great knowledge of HACCP standards, and kitchen health and safety rules
• Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
• Able to handle work in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiar with industry’s best practices
