Experienced Assistant in Transaction Advisory Services
Join our Transaction Support team and you will work with many of the world’s largest organizations, fastest-growing companies and private equity firms on some of the most complex deals in the global market. Through analysis of financial, commercial and operational data, our industry-aligned transaction support professionals provide insights to key decision makers that help them increase value and reduce the risks and uncertainty inherent in transactions. You will help to identify key value drivers, challenge assumptions about future performance, search for and advise on hidden value, and work with other EY service teams to deliver an integrated approach to our clients before, during and after the transaction.
The opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced Assistant consultant to contribute to the delivery of quality services for our diverse clients. This position offers excellent opportunities for learning and career advancement to right candidate.
Your key responsibilities
- Working on Due Diligence tasks
- Participate and assist in preparing for meetings with target management teams
- Assist in researching technical accounting issues to evaluate implications on transaction valuation and structuring
- Assist in preparing reports and schedules that will be delivered to clients and other parties
- Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel
- Contribute to people initiatives, including recruiting and retaining Transaction Support professionals
- Maintain an educational program to develop personal skills on an ongoing basis
- Understand and follow workplace policies and procedures
- Build strong internal relationships with members of the Transaction Support team and other EY services
Skills and attributes for success
- Excellent analytical and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work well within a team
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Fluency in English language
- Strong work initiative and the ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas
To qualify for the role you must have
- Bachelor degree in business, economics or related areas of expertise
- Knowledge of IFRS
- 1-2 years of relevant experience
- Strong accounting background
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Experience from diverse industries or from Big4 firm
