Note that this add is initially for a 3 month period - but will be converted into a full time job if the first period is satisfactory. The monthly pay should be at or around Eur 1000 per month, with a bonus which, on target, can double this amount.

Our mission is, on the one hand, to provide art lovers with one of the best places on the planet to discover and collect art; On the other, to help art dealers (galleries, auction houses, art advisors) to serve the market more efficiently.

Hundreds of thousands of artworks, articles, auction results, artist profiles, and art-related events are available to discover for free on our platform.

After the development of several new services and the transformation of our platform into an e-commerce/Saas website, the company is currently implementing ambitious growth plans and is looking for someone to take over the role of sales and client relationships manager, reporting to the COO, to help us support our growth further.

We’re looking for a Sales and Client Support manager, reporting to our Chef Operations Officer, to help support (and up-sale to) existing clients and drive adoption of Widewalls amongst art galleries and auction houses.

WHO YOU ARE

You absolutely must have the following skills (do not apply otherwise):

  • Proven success selling on the phone or through video calls
  • Perfect spoken English
  • Copywriting skills in English (whilst we aim at automating sales to accelerate our growth, this job entails a lot of communication by email with potential and existing clients.)
  • Proven success selling on the phone or through video calls
  • Strong interest in art  
  • Prior CRM knowledge (Hubspot preferably)
  • Good understanding of lead generation and outbound sales channels and tools (Linkedin automation, cold mailing)

NICE TO HAVE:

  • Master level or equivalent
  • 5+ years experience in sales/client support for a BtB digital (web-based) product or service
  • Good understanding of Saas platforms and their sales/support strategy
  • Some understanding of inbound sales tactics (landing pages, conversion funnels…)

SOFT SKILLS:

  • Rigorous, independent, success-driven individual
  • Very strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Inquiring personality to develop processes internally and build connections externally
  • Passion in art / Knowledge of the art gallery world
  • Experience with working in a startup

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Initially trained by the head of Operations (to whom you will report), the head of marketing, and the CEO
  • Constantly developing the client relationship processes to attract new clients
  • Syncing Client Relationships activities with the marketing department (who is in charge of lead generation through cold mailing and Linkedin automation)
  • A lot of communication by email with potential and existing clients (if you do not feel like sending at least 40 to 50 emails a day, do not apply!)
  • Use and develop the CRM (Hubspot) on a daily basis
  • Help design automated client feedback, support and training processes for the company (in coordination with our Marketing and IT departments)
  • Tracking the performance of the sales pipeline and managing it
  • Participating in the building/improvement of sales documents (landing pages, mailing, etc) in coordination with our Marketing department)
  • Developing an appropriate sales cadence for different channels and markets
  • Promoting the development of inbound sales funnels (in coordination with our Marketing and IT departments)
  • Managing our client portfolio for up-sale purposes
  • Initially working on your own, but then build a team to support each sales channel
  • Close great deals!
  • Reporting to the head of operations
