Expert Category Manager (Belgrade)

Job description:

• Negotiates commercial and legal terms with local suppliers for pre-packaged consumer goods and manages supplier relationships
• Participates in defining the annual strategy and budget with the Department Convenience Retail Manager
• Optimizes store assortment to increase sales, revenue, and profitability
• Executes tenders for procurement and shop-in-shop concepts; analyzes and improves procurement and logistics costs
• Defines and adjusts product pricing and services; develops local promotions in coordination with the marketing team
• Monitors KPIs, analyzes sales and logistics data, and proposes supply chain optimization measures
• Conducts competitor and market analysis; monitors import costs and market trends
• Defines store layouts and planograms in line with SPACEMAN principles to improve traffic and margins
• Reports regularly to the Department Convenience Retail Manager on performance, changes, and optimization proposals

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree 
• Proven experience in category management within retail or FMCG (minimum 3+ years)
• Fluency in English
• Working knowledge of SAP is an advantage
• Valid driver's license B category
