Expert in Finance & Controlling

What You Will Be Doing?

Expert in finance and accounting will be in charge of a broad range of tasks in order to support the functioning of financial and accounting processes of the company. This person will work in a small team and will have supervision and support, but it is expected to have a considerable level of independence.

Main responsibilities: 

  • Maintenance of cost centers, internal orders and distribution (allocation) cycles
  • Participation in the preparation of monthly and quaternary reports to regulatory authorities, local management and shareholder
  • Generating requirements for the development of IT systems in order to improve processes in the field of finance and accounting,
  • Monthly closing activities

  • Checking whether postings are correct from a legislation point of view (accounting checking)

  • Checking whether postings are on correct cost centers/internal orders (controlling checking)

  • Posting of FX differences

  • Cost allocation

  • Capitalization

  • Posting of incoming and outgoing documents

  • Monitoring of tax and accounting regulations
  • Calculation of value-added tax
  • Calculation of withholding tax on the income of non-resident legal entities
  • Proposing changes to procedures and Processes in the Field of Finance and Accounting

What Do You Need for the Position?

We expect the candidate to have:

  • 3+ years of experience in the field of finance & accounting
  • Bachelor or Master degree in Economics

  • Experience in finance in IT industry (knowledge of principles of cost and capital allocation in the IT industry are considered advantage)
  • Good knowledge of relevant regulations
  • Experience in working with foreign clients and knowledge of IFRS
  • Active knowledge of English
  • Experience in SAP is required. SAP key user activities:
    • Creation and tracking of SAP incidents in Service Now/Jira system
    • Cooperation with local and Group SAP consultants related to all SAP adjustments (VAT evidence, GL accounts, FX mapping…)
  • Excellent Excel knowledge
