Financial Advisory Associate

The team

Together with our VM team, this person will be involved in VM assignments, including the preparation of reports and models for valuation of assets and equity, business planning and dispute services.

Work you will do 

• Participation in preparation of valuation reports and financial models for various purposes
• Support more senior staff in day-to-day VM engagement activities and effective project delivery
• Build, maintain and be able to collaborate and build cross-functional relationship

Ideal candidate’s qualifications 

Preferred qualifications:  

• Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting or economics from a reputable university (Masters degree preferred but not essential)
• 1-3 years of work experience in similar industry with focus on financial modelling and valuations
• Previous ‘Big 4’ work experience preferred but not essential
• Proficiency in Excel
• Ability to gather and analyze large sets of data and set up valuation models
• Excellent report writing skills
• Excellent analytical skills
• Basic proficiency in financial analysis
• Ability to work in power point independently and produce well written documents
• A strong command of spoken and written English
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and multitask
