Financial Analyst - Accountant

An established, multi - family office located in Zurich, Switzerland with a strong focus on international clientele is looking for Financial Analyst to strengthen our research & accounting capabilities and deepen our understanding of a portfolio of companies, based in the Beograd office.

Responsibilities

• Monitor news flow and quarterly financial results of a portfolio of listed companies 
• Provide analysis of forecast on macro data 
• Create and maintain product factsheets and client presentations 
• Monthly reporting for investment committee meetings
• Tracking of the costs on regular basis incurred in group member companies in Serbia and affiliated companies in Cyprus on a regular basis
• Occasionally financial analyses and modelling of Real Estate development projects and private equity projects
• Handle accounting and bookkeeping requirements on behalf of the company, its group companies, and client companies

Required Qualifications / Knowledge

• Preferably holding a bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Economics, module Accounting, Audit and Financial 
• Preferably completed CFA level 1 or higher
• 3+ years of experience as an analyst or in accounting, with ideally experience in international companies 
• Deep knowledge of financial markets and the valuation of financial assets
• Familiarity with financial instruments and international stock exchanges
• Good with numbers and ability to distil large amounts of information into specific takeaways
• Ability to manage and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
• Ability to work under pressure
• Excellent communication skills in English (Written & Spoken) 
• Ability to work effectively alone and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
