Financial Manager
Place of work: Belgrade
We are looking for a financial manager for our touristic company based in Belgrade with activities in Belgrade, Budapest and Vienna.
We are a relatively small company which is growing continously.
Our core-business is organizing sight-seeing tours by bike to tourists in Belgrade, Budapest and Vienna.
We also organize different kind of tours, like classic car tours about Yugoslavia in Belgrade.
We are looking for an experienced, hard-working, versatile and hands-on colleague who will fit on our small and young team who will handle all bookkeeping, payments, work with our accountant and will advise management on strategy.
In general, the Financial Manager is responsible for the administration of financial activities and daily financial operations.
The main tasks are:
- Daily and general bookkeeping
- Register all payments made / received, financial transactions made, etc.
- Keep track of all fixed and variable costs, produce monthly balance overviews and consult with the external accountant
- Supervising staff
- Instruct and control all staff involved in financial transactions and planning
- Payments & banking
- Running all payments (rents, salaries etc), invoicing and keeping track of receivables/ payables
- Deal with all bank related tasks
- Strategic panning
- Advice the management based on financial l situation and planning projections
- Provide monthly, quarterly and yearly reports on the financial status of the company as well as projections
- Office management
- Maintenance of office, ensuring enough supply of office material, procurement of material and electronic devices
- Development and implementation of bookkeeping system
- Further develop and improve the existing bookkeeping system
- For 2018 the goal is to have bookkeeping system software installed and in use which will be used by the colleagues in offices in Belgrade, Budapest and any other cities
- Archiving
- Keep track of contracts and other business-documents and archive them orderly and properly
- Procurement & inventory
Who we are looking for:
We are looking for a positive and pro-active colleague who has enough experience to work independently and improve our current financial management, with the following qualifications:
- A degree in finances, economy, business and /or financial management
- At least 6 years of experience in working in finances, of which at least 2 in financial management
- Certificate or proven experience in Excel and/or other finance software
- Great communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of English and Serbian in both speaking and writing
- Accurate, great with numbers and analytics, as well as being able to think commercially
- Pro-active attitude and ability to work independently
- Able to keep track and order in a sometimes informal setting and last-minute developments
- Open to work on additional tasks such as office-management
