General Manager

Location: Belgrade

Our client is a visionary and dynamic Swiss global enterprise which produces and distributes exclusive, high quality consumer goods in over 40 countries. A unique patented healthy food preparing system as well as patented products in the area of medical devices and health care products are just a few examples of the exclusive range of high quality, innovative products.

For decades the “Brand Names” of our client have been well known internationally. For the further expansion of our client’s activities we are now seeking an experienced, highly driven, independent, intelligent and analytical person for our client’s company in Belgrade.

Primary responsibilities

  • Increase management's effectiveness by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counselling and disciplining managers; communicating values, strategies and objectives; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
  • Develop strategic sales plans; present assumptions; recommend objectives.
  • Accomplish Sales Managers’ objectives by establishing plans, budgets and results measurements; review progress; make mid-course corrections.
  • Coordinate efforts by establishing procurement, marketing policies and practices; coordinate actions with Sales Managers.
  • Build company image by collaborating with customers, government, community organizations and employees; enforcing ethical business practices.
  • Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
  • Oversee preparation of: Annual Report, Annual Budget, regular statements and Annual Audit. 

Qualifications

  • 5-10+ years of experience in business management, planning and financial oversight (preferably in the field of consumer products) and most importantly in depth operational sales experience. (“the GM must be the best sales person in the company”).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in management, sales, marketing or related field
  • Track record of taking new and innovative products to market
  • The capacity to create and execute innovative strategies that will drive the company to exceed customer satisfaction and revenues.
  • Experience in managing and supervising diverse teams
  • Excellent communication skills
