The successful candidate for this role will ensure the implementation of country-specific HR Strategy & People plan – as part of Group strategy and Long Range Plan - together with the country General Managers, local Management Teams, and Regional HR Leader (Europe, Asia, North America). The primary focus will be on Serbia considering headcount and operations.
The position is based in Obrenovac (Barič) and requires regular traveling to Mei Ta Europe plant in Barič.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a trusted advisor to the General Manager of Mei Ta Europe and other Mei Ta Group countries, their management teams and team leaders
- Manages full employment life cycle and implement the group HR processes
- Establishing the annual local HR & HC budget; scheduling and conducting job evaluations; preparing pay budgets; recommending, planning, and implementing pay structure revisions; recommending benefit programs to management; directing the processing of benefit claims; and designing and conducting educational programs on benefit programs
- Prepares employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs
- Take initiatives to develop Mei Ta Europe as an Employer Brand
- Follow HR regulations and labor law changes and implement them in work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions
- Responsible for effectively identifying, investigating and resolving employee relations issues
- Support in all HR related matters during audits (ISO, IFS, Financial Audits, etc.)
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in progressively responsible human resource roles
- 3+ years of experience in Labor Relations and Employee Relations
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Economics, Psychology or equivalent
- Fluent in both Serbian and English
- Technical and functional understanding of and experience with different HR techniques (talent management – training & development – recruiting –performance management – competence management – job grading – HR systems).
- Decent knowledge of Serbian labour law
- Strong communication skills, able to work with international teams
- Strong Analytical & Implementation skills (problem solver mindset)
- Familiarity with ADP/HRIS and strong Microsoft Office skills
- Experience in environmental and or safety policies and reporting
