Job Summary

Plays a key role in enabling the HR Operating Model by deep diving into the HR process and service data.  Focuses on finding insights that will help drive the HR Operations strategy with a view to enhance processes and enabling technology to drive delivery to the lowest tier level possible.  Helps internal stakeholders to initiate, strategize, plan, run, execute & maintain performance initiatives. Identifies areas for focus using various process improvement techniques and data analysis.  Designs, implements, and continuously improves the Tier Accountability dashboards and all associated Operational Excellence tools and documentation to support the Operational Excellence Operating System.  Measures the effectiveness of the Operational Excellence Operating System within HR Operations. Supports positive service delivery change.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provides the data analysis to support Process and Service Excellence
  • Creates Tier Accountability dashboards based on KPIs and SLAs to be used by HR Operations functional leaders as a basis for data-driven discussions and improvements
  • Analyses existing reports for the purpose of tracking and trending performance and to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Identifies issues upfront and proactively communicate risks to Leaders and stakeholders
  • Participates in root cause analysis, including corrective action planning and ability to provide documentation to support analysis
  • Performs data analysis and makes recommendations to drive forward a customer-oriented service approach which is reflected in customer satisfaction scores
  • Monitors and makes recommendations to drive forward the operational success of HR Operations by supporting the creation of a metrics driven organization
  • Assesses impact of proposed process and technology changes on end user adoption, cycle time, headcount and ROI
  • Primary point of contact for Operational Excellence analytics day-to-day support
  • Supports the development of an Operational Excellence Operating System for HR Operations
  • Influences HR Operations, at all levels, to achieve and sustain a high-performance, continuous improvement culture throughout the organization
  • Supports the creation, implementation, and adoption of a Continuous Improvement framework to be rolled out across HR Operation in the first instance and broader HR at a later stage.
  • Produces reports on a consistent basis to ensure performance parameters are met for the Leadership team
  • Supports PMO to successfully implement Operational Excellence initiatives
  • Understands the functional design of ServiceNow to maximize on its system capabilities
  • Qualifications
  • Minimum of a bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Human Relations, or related discipline
  • Relevant Lean Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt certification preferred

Preferred Skills:

  • 2 years minimum Operational Excellence experience
  • Good understanding of Lean Methodology
  • Strong Qualitative/Quantitative analytical skills capability identifying and analyzing problems and proposing solutions and recommendations for resolving them
  • Ability to apply a continuous improvement framework by continually seeking new ways to enhance performance, improve results and transform the business to a lean way of operating
  • Experience with Employee Service Management tools (preferably ServiceNow HRSD)
  • HCM Tools experience (PeopleSoft, Oracle HCM Cloud preferred)
  • Excellent Excel skills and experience using BI tools and data visualization tools
  • Experience with consulting and advising advancing initiatives and mandates through consultation with client groups, relationship building, while ensuring alignment to corporate strategies.
  • Previous HR Operations cross-functional exposure
  • Proven Project Management skills
  • Must be fluent in spoken & written English
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to build strong internal & external relationships at all levels
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and prioritize work appropriately
  • Ability to work effectively in an environment of change and manage multiple priorities concurrently through project management, systems knowledge, and effective communication
