HR Trainee for Human Resources Development Program

(Ref: HRTM/01/19), Belgrade

We currently have a vacancy for an HR Trainee, fluent in English and preferably French, to participate in the Human Resources Development Program that consists of rotational assignments in the HR field. The work will be carried out in the company’s premises in Belgrade for the International HR Team of the company.

Your tasks:

The assignments you will undertake are in-depth experiences that will allow you to sharpen your skills, understand the different aspects of our HR operations, and demonstrate your abilities. Your journey will include several core experiences. Some of the typical tasks include:

  • Maintain human resources records by recording new hires, transfers, terminations, tracking vacation and sickness;
  • Compensation and benefits administration and record keeping;
  • Provide administrative support to the HR Manager, including answering requests and questions, scheduling appointments and meetings and/or other clerical duties;
  • Organize and manage the travel arrangements and logistics of interviews;
  • Assist with the day-to-day efficient operation of the HR office;
  • Develop and/or maintain the appropriate systems and procedures as required;
  • Identify and use creative sourcing techniques to locate candidates internationally;
  • Review and understand technical job requirements, in view of participating in the implementation of adequate HR sourcing solutions;
  • Follow and manage new IT technologies and create detailed job descriptions;
  • Identify applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analysing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements;
  • Build networks through industry contacts, employees, and job boards (e.g. social media) to recruit the best talent for the Outsourcing missions;
  • Research and recommend new sources for candidate recruitment in new markets;
  • Conduct cold calls to reach out to potential candidates.

Your skills:

For the Human Resources Development Program we seek for recent graduates and individuals with limited relevant work experience who have a passion for human resources.

The candidates should have:

  • Graduate Degree or equivalent in Human Resources/industrial relations or an M.B.A. with a human resources concentration. A Bachelor/Master degree in IT will be considered an asset;
  • Previous experience in the recruitment/social media sourcing field and particularly in IT or International recruitment will be highly appreciated;
  • Experience in HR training, recruitment, compensation and benefits is advantageous;
  • General knowledge of labor legislation and practices;
  • Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment, demonstrated skills in database management and records keeping;
  • Excellent command of English and preferably French language, both orally and written. Knowledge of any additional European language will be considered as a strong asset;

Inter-personal competencies:

  • Exhibit strong communication abilities and embrace the responsibility of new challenges;
  • Grasp new concepts quickly;
  • Proven ability to operate under very tight deadlines;
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality;
  • Positive, constructive, flexible, “can do” attitude, while working in a challenging environment are essential.
