To lead the evolution of international technologies in the modern retail concepts we are starting with R&D activities.

R&D activities will be in international retailing, new and modern technologies under the aspects of market trends and legal frames.

Results of our R&D activities will be publicly available in order to create even bigger benefits for the society.

Responsibilities:

• Define international R&D projects in the areas of our operations (Technology, Retailing, Retail Technologies, marketing, legal etc.)
• Lead effective and efficient R&D projects and teams with colleagues, external partners and universities
• Suggest external partners (companies and universities) to the management and be involved in the decision
• Prepare all documentation about R&D projects to win external partners and internal colleagues
• Report the plans and status of the projects to the management
• Organize and run all related activities e.g. experiments, questionaries’ etc. 
• Ensure that R&D projects are completed within time, budget and quality targets
• Create planes for the following years (budget, activities etc.), present it and agree it with management
• Track the budget and related costs
• Present the results on international events
• Create and run with Marketing department campaigns during all phases of the projects
• Create belonging documentation
• Organise publishing of the project documentation e.g. results as agreed with management and marketing department
• Manage efficiently all used resources
• Cooperate closely with other departments within company and with external partners
• Actively and regularly promote R&D activities on the social networks (specially on LinkedIn)
• Monitor the trends in Retail, used Retail technologies and fiscalization around the world and suggest based in them new R&D projects

Required skills

• Passion for retail and technology and willing to deep dive into challenges.
• Following specific technical or industry knowledge is considered an advantage: retail, fiscalization, retail related technologies.
• Strategic and conceptual thinking to help guide long term strategies.
• Good analytical thinking; problem solving skills & ability to think out of the box.
• Entrepreneurial mindset.
• Experience in leading a global team. Good People and project Management skills.
• Communication and presentation skills for internal and external meetings.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and network (internally & externally).
